WHAT IS A TCO (TARIFF CONCESSION ORDER)?

The objective of the tariff concession system is to assist industry in becoming more internationally competitive by providing concessions on duty for imported goods if substitutable goods are not produced in Australia.  Substitutable goods are defined in a TCO as Australian-made goods which have a use corresponding to a use of the imported goods. Typically, the government has made this so difficult and time-consuming to apply for it is a deterrent to any business owner or manager. That's where we step-in.
